Sven and Florian work with very old vines. They farm all the vineyards organically and bio dynamically. Absolutely everything is done by hand in the vineyards and in the cellar. The wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered. While the red wines have established the reputation of the estate, the white wines are getting better and better every year. 2013 marked a serious turning point. Arising from such unexpected grapes as Müller-Thurgau, Weissburgunder and Grauburgunder, the wines are textural and complicated, yet also elegant, and in perfect harmony.

Pietro Beconcini Chianti Riserva and Franz Keller Grauburgunder listed as house wines at Ura Japanese Delicacy

It might be Japanese for "hidden", but URA Japanese Delicacy is not hard to find. Located at the cusp of Central and Sheung Wan, the hip Japanese eatery is the latest brainchild of the Chang brothers, who also own nearby Indonesian restaurant IR1968. With ingredients flown in daily from Osaka, the menu offers tapas-style small bites, grilled meats, sashimi and sushi, and larger plates of rice bowls and sushi platters. Located at 2/F, The Wellington, 198 Wellington Street, Central, the restaurant also has a large terrace that is a good area for after-dinner drinks.
